Last year, FujiFilm Canada reached out to me about working with them on their X-Series, a line of high end digital cameras. I was pretty excited, because I've been attracted to the system for a while, particularly for my travel photography. They send me gear to use, and I'm responsible to give feedback for the designers at FujiFilm Global in Japan to consider when designing new cameras in this line. I've since been working with a bunch of different cameras and lenses in different environments, and I have to say that Fuji is no joke. These cameras are incredible. I'll have a lot to say about over the course of this year, as I document my travel and personal life with them. It will be a part of a personal project I'm working on, that I'll be sharing more of as the year goes on. I still shoot with Canon for the majority of my professional work, but I've begun to work the X-Series in here and there, and that will most likely increase in 2015. My first full go with Fuji was when I took the X-E2 and the XF23 lens with me to France in June. I'm not sure there's anything I enjoy more than street photography. And using this camera in Paris to document my family and our adventures was beautiful. Here's what I was able to get.
